Brand Equity Studios v1.0

Finally the new Brand Equity Studios face is finished; still the design launch is a bit rough. There are still many bugs to fix and content to add, but is getting there anyway. It took me a while to decide which way to approach for the design, but I decided to keep it simple and yet different than just a regular blog of course.

I want to give credit to a fellow Wordpress designer, Small Potato who kindly developed a free theme called “digg-3-col.” Believe it or not this is a heavily modify version of that theme. I added one more column and move them to the right side of the blog and then of course the images and graphics dressing the blog with a different look and feel. Looks difficult to accomplish, but it is not due to the extraordinary work of Small potato coding the theme, easy to manipulate.

You are going to ask why in the hell did you use a pre-made wp-theme for your blog and did not make it from zero. Well I must say for a couple of good reasons; First one was time, as you may know developing a custom theme takes more time and I needed to work in other projects – As simple as that; and the second reason was because I wanted to show how easy you can adapt and transform a pre-made wp-theme into something else and make it fit your needs, of course leaving the credits of the original developer intact (very Important).

I am very pleased with the results and I hope you enjoy it too. Feel free to leave any comment about the site and let me know what you think.
